Lighthouse Auto Sales is owned and operated by Neil Spencer, a "car guy" who was lucky enough to turn his lifelong passion for cars into a business in 2001.  Neil attended General Motors Institute in Flint, Michigan starting back in 1980 and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.  From the time he could push a Hot Wheel around, he has had a personal love affair with cars of all types!  He has been a member of car clubs for over 20 years, and he is personally involved in the selection, evaluation, reconditioning, and selling of every vehicle sold.

The company's foundation is to provide vehicles that look, run, and drive better than anyone at prices others can't beat.  Every car, truck, van, or SUV we sell goes through a thorough evaluation and all items identified as requiring attention are addressed, plain and simple.

Indoor storage of our entire inventory is just one example of the level of care every vehicle receives.  Storing them inside protects them from the elements (hail/snow/rain), keeps thieves and vandals from getting to them, and eliminates the need to wash them on a recurring basis.

As a consumer who bought vehicles for many years, Mr. Spencer loathed the typical dealership experience including having to talk to salespeople who were overzealous, lacking in knowledge, etc., playing along with their well-scripted games, paying add-on fees, etc.  In a deliberate effort to "be a shining light in the dark world of car dealers", Lighthouse Auto Sales has no salespeople just sitting around waiting for people to come in.  When you come in to see a vehicle you will meet personally with Neil (or on occassions when he is out of the office, with Jay, his extremely competent and knowledgeable mechanic).  We don't play pricing games and there have never been any add-on fees of any kind!
